Marjorie Alexander, a California native, fell in love with moving images through a television analysis and production course in 2002 after which she focused her efforts towards creating poignant and moving films. She strives to express herself through several other artforms including painting, photography, woodcraft and architectural design.
Now in Los Angeles, working as a Producer and Editor, Marjorie is in development on her first feature film, Mourning People, with Director Sherri Kauk. Alexander and Kauk have collaborated on several projects to date including their latest 35mm short film, Urban Dwellers.
Marjorie's intention is to educate and inform through art and for those who have a vision to improve the community and world they live in her passion is to help bring those vision to life.
